Microfilm and Microfiche
Readers will be able to access microfilm and microfiche copies of records if the image they want is either not available on screen or is difficult to read.
To order a film or fiche, just take a note of the reference number of the image you want, write it on the appropriate order form and take it to the search room supervisor to check. Once checked it will be placed in a tray ready for collection and will be brought to the search room for you to view.
Instructions will be given on how to use the readers.
For preservation and conservation reasons no original books or registers will be brought to the search rooms.
